The individual business units in the Czech Republic have joined in the activities and prepared themed activities or workshops for their employees to promote the idea of sustainability, healthy living, and responsibility towards society and nature.

The VINCI Energies Group itself has set the goal of reducing the direct and indirect carbon footprint of its activities by 20 percent by 2030.

OMEXOM GA Energo

Employees combined Environment Day with their annual team-building, this time at the Samopše site near Sázava. After the morning working session, a program was prepared for sports enthusiasts, hikers, water enthusiasts, and history lovers. During the afternoon trip, colleagues focused on collecting garbage along their route.

AXIANS ICT CZ

The company is based in the new ZET building, which is one of the first modern buildings in the recently abandoned premises of the Brno Armoury. It is currently undergoing revitalization. Thirty employees went to the site to collect as much rubbish as possible. The afternoon barbecue was enhanced by the debut of new reusable cups. The next team-building events at Axians ICT CZ will be a bit more environmentally friendly.

VARS BRNO

On 22 September, a breakfast was prepared for the employees of VARS Brno, which had an environmental subtext. Colleagues learned about the circumstances under which each type of food is produced, the environmental impact of its production, and the conditions in which animals bred for food live. The breakfast also marked the start of a new tradition of regular staff meetings.
